BONUS: Jiya's BIg Decision

JIYA'S BIG DECISION


 I enjoyed our discussion in our last class about Jiya's Big Decision.  Obviously, Jiya's decision changes the course and trajectory of his life.  Comment below and share your views of what you would do if you were Kino.  Respond to the comments of classmates too.

    I would want Jiya to stay with Kino because they are best friends and that's Jiyas only family. and Mr.Goh will u still give out the bonus's from when my parents commented because they couldn't come to the orientation.?

    If I were Kino, I would say to the father that I want Jiya to stay because I'd like to stay with my friend.

    If I were Jiya, I would choose to stay with Kino because you would be able to live with a friend, have that friend as a brother, and have a great family, knowing that I am safe.

    If I were Kino I would disobey my father and try to convince Jiya to stay with my family. I would really not be able to convince my friend to stay with someone else because we would be such good friends. I would be afraid of not seeing him again.

    Wow! Norman posted his comment before either of us read what the rest of you said. It's suprising almost all of us feel the same, Jiya should stay with Kino. I too read this story. If I were Kino I would also try talking Jiya into staying with me. The Old man would have provided a very rich life for Jiya. But, while disobeying my father is not a good thing, I believe friendships and what they have to offer make a person so much richer in life.

    If I were Jiya I would stay with kino because it would be awesome to live with your best friend and to have a mom, dad, brother, and sister.
